    A Nidra is type of meditation that moves your mind into the portal that exists between wakefulness and sleep, known as the hypnogogic gap, where the subconscious mind can be rewired while your physical body is in a state of deep relaxation. During a Nidra, brainwaves slow down and the analytical or logical mind goes quiet.
  • Will this help me sleep?

    Each Nidra is designed to help you sleep on several layers. First, the practice of listening to a guided Nidra is effortless for the listener and the simple act of listening can bring a level of calm that induces sleep. Another layer of a Nidra relates to slowing down your brainwaves, making it possible for your body to feel deeply relaxed so you can fall asleep with ease, while listening or later in the evening. The most powerful layer of a Nidra is that which accesses and rewires your subconscious mind to prime you for a deeply restorative sleep.
  • When is the best time to listen?

    The best time to listen to this album is in the hours before you sleep in order to bring you into the present moment, and induce a restorative sleep. If you have access to headphones or airpods, it can improve the listening experience. You can also play the tracks directly through the built-in speakers on your phone.
  • What if I fall asleep during a track?

    It is very normal for the mind to drift in and out of sleep while listening to Night-time Nidras. In some instances falling asleep is desired and encouraged. The practice of Nidra is deeply adaptogenic and will always give the listener whatever they need in the moment. The subconscious mind is always working to ensure your safety, which might mean you fall asleep after listening for a few minutes, or remain awake for the entire track.
